The party behind these operations, Salt Typhoon, has been identified as a Chinese state-sponsored entity, and its cyber-offensive may be the most troubling and sophisticated of its kind to ever directly target the U.S.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/newlinesinstitute.org\/tech-econ-sov-sec\/2024-when-chinas-salt-typhoon-made-cyberspace-tidal-waves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Global Europe Journal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Europe\u2019s Digital World Was Built By Hackers.
